Curved blood red flowers are up to 30 mm long and tubular, from August-January (may vary) here, on dark green foliage. Habit is about 3' tall or higher by 2’. Prune will when young. It is a Cape Heath from South Africa. Therefore, only hardy to about 28 degrees F. We grow them successfully in the greenhouses here in Western Washington with no heat. In the odd very cold spell, we take them into a more protected facility. Needs an acid soil mix.
