This tree heath is found in the in western Spain, Portugal and northwest Africa. Hardy to Zone 8 (10 degrees) and warmer. They need heavy snow loads removed to avoid breakage. Wind storms can be damaging.
They are a bit scraggly but have the largest and most colorful flowers of the tree heaths. They require acid soil. These are rare plants. |
